Incremental Quest
Maybe is money, maybe is glory, maybe is something else... you are not sure, but you feel an urge that leads you into the dungeon.
Descend deeper, grow stronger, and build your perfect setup to conquer every floor.
This is the prototype of an idle game that aims for Dark RPG flair.
Currently it only envolves fighting enemies to get money and upgrade stats with that money.
An alpha version is in development now.
Tentative mechanics involves equipments, skills, bounties, different enemies, a story, and more.

Thank you all for the comments. As I mention on the game description this is a prototype that I uploaded to check if there was ground for a game like this.
Fortunately, the results were very positive!
So now I will take some time to develop enough content for an alpha or a demo.
Maybe an ability to run the game at double speed on parts we've already completed would be good. So far everything is on floor 1. Maybe some room numbers to mark the different hp or level of mice and when we've beat that room number we can double speed those room numbers from then on.
Something like the boomerang from dragon quest that does less damage but hits multiple enemies since we're fighting multiple enemies at once. A whip or flail instead of a sword.
Sorry, I wasn't updating the label for the floor number.
Thank you for keep playing and giving feedback, it makes me very happy to know that there's people following the progress of my game.
We need save states because of things like microsoft updates we can't keep the tab open. And fullscreen is an important feature. I'm looking forward to future development. I see the mice are leveling up now.
Information what is not yet developed and what is just not yet unlocked would be nice. There is lots of expectation that turn to dissapointment because of this.
I just uploaded an update. Thank you all for the feedback.
ones i get to level 4 defence i think im in a unescaple loop of killing rats and not haveing an exit botton
I just uploaded an update. Thanks for the feedback.
Seems a good start. Intered when you add equipment and such.. and More monsters.
Thank you for your support
It seems like once you have 5 defense, you can't die, and therefore can't leave the dungeon. An option to voluntarily leave would be nice.
Thank you, I'm already working on improving that.
Looking forward to the demo.Hopefully we'll see an "End Run" button or something, i didnt expect to be trapped for 5 minutes after getting 5A/5D lol
There shall be a button xD
Thank you for playing
There is no memory system. Reload the page and you're back to 0.
At some point, the rats have 6/5 health. With an attack of 4, you correctly reduce the rat's health to 2/5.
Prices should increase and not remain stable.
Oh, and it would be nice if the game could run in the background, not just when the window is in focus.
Thank you for all your feedback, PiratJack! The issues will be addressed on the next updates
This reminds me of some of the earliest pc games in the 90s. I'd love for this to become a full game.
Thank you, Scisnien! I uploaded the prototype to see if the idea generates interest. I am happy with the feedback so I'll continue this path and take the prototype into a demo.
the sound affects for rats and you attacking are too loud, and is TABERN meant to be TAVERN?
I think previous commenter was asking because 5A/5D means you just loop killing rats forever, since they cant hurt you.
Thank you for your feedback! I will equalize the sounds.
About the rats, in this prototype they are the only enemy, but in future updates there will be more and stronger enemies. Also, the floor affects the rats stats, so they get stronger the deeper you go.
How do you leave the dungeon if you don't die?
You don't really die ever, you faint and wake up in the city. How do you get there remains a mistery.
If your defence is four, and your only enemy are rats, you can't die, how do we go back to the city in this situation?
The enemies are rats (for now) but their stats gets higher as you go deeper into the dungeon
Thanks for your comment
I need to add a button to return to the city tho, you are right about that
I meant, If you don't faint how to you leave to dungeon to spend your money? It gets boring after a while when you start putting all your money into defense and the game runs for tens of minutes without being able to interact. Reason is you need many hits to even kill one rat but the rat is not able to hit you. And since the window needs to have the focus you can't do anything else in the time.
I will work on those points, thank you for the feedback
